Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing, accessing, or utilizing the ThreatLens Chrome Extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the Service for personal or internal business viewing and operation. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify, decompile, or reverse engineer any software contained in the Service;
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations;
  • Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While ThreatLens utilizes industry-leading threat intelligence capabilities, we do not warrant that the Service will detect 100% of malicious payloads or guarantee that your environment will be completely immune from cyber threats. You use the software at your own explicit risk.

4. Third-Party Services

ThreatLens may rely on third-party services, including threat intelligence and reputation providers, to enrich download decisions. Availability, quotas, and results from those providers may change independently of ThreatLens.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to bypass security logic, use the Service for unlawful activity, or represent ThreatLens capabilities in a misleading manner. Enterprise and partner discussions do not create a commercial agreement unless separately documented.

6. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall ThreatLens or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, even if ThreatLens has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

7. Product Evolution

ThreatLens may evolve from a single product into a broader platform with additional services, enterprise controls, integrations, and commercial offerings. Features, workflows, or deployment models may be updated over time.

8. Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing on the Service could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. ThreatLens does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. We may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice.
